Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly when using CareerShift.
- Your resume text or uploaded resume file.
- Job titles, target roles, job descriptions, and answers you enter into the app.
- Your email address if you provide it during checkout.
- Payment metadata needed to confirm purchases and refunds. Card details are processed by Stripe, not stored by CareerShift.
How we use your information
- To generate your translated resume, strategy report, and optional professional package.
- To create checkout sessions, confirm payment status, and support refunds when applicable.
- To troubleshoot download issues, payment issues, and support requests.
- To maintain service security, detect abuse, and improve reliability.
AI processing and service providers
CareerShift uses third-party providers to operate the service, including Google Gemini for AI generation, Firebase for hosting and backend services, and Stripe for payment processing. We use these providers only to deliver the service and related support.
Payment information
Payments are handled by Stripe. CareerShift stores limited payment-related records such as payment status, tier purchased, Stripe identifiers, and refund status so we can unlock downloads and support customers.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver your documents, support downloads, investigate issues, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records. If you want us to review a deletion request, email admin@wuevas.com.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the information we process. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Your choices
- You can choose what resume and job information to submit.
- You may leave the checkout email blank if you do not want to provide it.
- You can contact us to ask questions about your data or request support.
Children and changes
CareerShift is not intended for children under 13. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting an updated version on this page.
